These are all questions you might be asking yourself. Whether you decide to buy a Warranty or not, we feel it is our job to inform you (the consumer) about buying an extended warranty for your automobile.

What is an extended warranty? (Also referred to as a vehicle service contract.)

After the manufacturer's warranty expires on your vehicle, you have nothing to protect yourself from expensive vehicle repairs. US Fidelis™'s vehicle service contracts assures that parts, labor, and sales tax (if applicable) required for replacement or repair of covered parts in your vehicle will be paid by US Fidelis™.


Why do I need an Extended Warranty?

Your automobile is most likely your 2nd largest investment that you use on a day to day basis. A US Fidelis™ extended auto warranty will insure that your vehicle is always in the best mechanical condition.

Our warranties are fully transferable; a US Fidelis™ warranty will increase the resale value of your vehicle.


Why should I buy it now? I'm still covered by the manufacturer.

Extended warranties cost less the earlier you buy them. The cost for a good warranty rises as your vehicle ages and accrues mileage.

Our extended warranties cover much more than the manufacturer's warranty. A US Fidelis™ warranty can extend you manufacturer warranty by up to 10 years and cover more than 1295 additional parts; most probably not covered by the manufacturer.


How are claims paid?

US Fidelis™ lets you use the repair facility of your choice (dealer, national chain, local mechanic) and pays your claim quickly and efficiently over the phone via our corporate credit card. Simply allow the repair facility to contact our claims department and we will take care of the bill. You pay your deductible (if any). No paperwork, no need to lay out any cash, and there is no limit to the amount of claims you can have! We cover parts, labor and even sales tax, if applicable.


Are the warranties insured?

Yes, US Fidelis™ has a full suite of products available, some of which are insured by A and A+ rated insurance carriers. Contact your sales representative for details.

Are there payment options?

US Fidelis™ offers 0% financing. You can get started with a small down payment and spread the rest out over 12 months. We accept all major credit cards and checks for payment plans.

Do you offer additional benefits?

Take advantage of any or all the benefits we offer including 24/7 roadside assistance, car rental (please see your service agreement for further details), and trip interruption for the entire life of the warranty. Also take advantage of our seals and gaskets coverage, wear and tear coverage, tire and road hazard coverage, and toll-free nationwide service and support.


Where can I take my vehicle for repairs?

You can take your vehicle to any licensed repair facility in your area. US Fidelis™ provides you with over 30,000 repair facilities to choose from. You may take it in for repairs at your original dealer, your favorite repair shop, or any national chain that performs vehicle repairs such as Pep Boys, Goodyear, or Firestone.


What if I want to cancel my warranty?


Your contract contains full details on refunds. You have the right to cancel your warranty at anytime for a pro-rated refund on the unused portion of your warranty. If you cancel in the first 30 or 60 days, you are entitled to a full refund. **

** Please note Premier Xtend policies are not refundable after receipt of product.


Is my warranty transferable?

Absolutely, US Fidelis™ warranties are fully transferable for a small fee ($50 or less). The $50 transfer fee ($40 for Florida residents) will be more than made up if you elect to sell your vehicle. The extended warranty greatly increases the resale value of your vehicle.


I've seen lower prices on the Web. Why should I buy a US Fidelis™ warranty?

How does the deductible work??

With US Fidelis™, each repair visit will require one deductible payment. We also offer a zero deductible option where you'll never have to reach into your pocket for a covered repair.

You pay your deductible directly to the repair facility.


What happens to the money I pay US Fidelis™?

Most of the money you pay US Fidelis™ goes into a "claims reserve account". These accounts are fully insured and reinsured by highly rated carriers based upon A.M. Best Ratings. These accounts are strictly designated to pay future claims.


Where do I get my VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)

Your VIN is located in several areas and is your car's unique identifying number. To find your VIN, check the following areas:

  • On the vehicle's registration card
  • On a sticker inside the driver side door
  • On the driver's side dashboard of your car
  • On the title to your vehicle
  • On your insurance card

How do I know what I'm buying?

You want to make sure you are getting all of the above benefits of a warranty and more. Your extended warranty contract will have all the exact details of your warranty. How does it work?

By purchasing an extended warranty from US Fidelis™, you can reduce your unexpected out of pocket expenses on automobile repairs by 100%.

After you purchase a warranty, you must continue to maintain your vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

In the event of a mechanical breakdown, you call your pre-assigned US Fidelis™ 800 number provided for claims support. Take your car to any repair facility and have them call our claims office to get the final claim approved. Once the claim is approved, the repair shop will fix or replace the broken part(s) and US Fidelis™ will immediately pay the bill over the phone with our corporate credit card. You will be requested to pay the repair facility your deductible directly. We do offer coverages with a $0 deductible.

Now, you're back on the road and we paid the bill! Remember you can take your car in for repairs as many times as needed, there's no limit to the number of times your car can be fixed with US Fidelis™.

In the event of a breakdown while on the road, just call the number on the back of your roadside assistance card.
